He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Santana Grant and Jean Knight; and his siblings, Alfredo Grant and Blanche Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Luz M. Grant; his daughters, Elisa Maria Grant, Estrella Cecilia Briggs and Cristina Judith Grant; his brother Walterio Grant; his sister-in-law Alfreida Grant; his sister Felicia Grant; and his grandchildren, Taniqua Shaneigh Tyson, Julie Tonya Chambers, Mustafah Wesley Rasin, Nalijah Artayah Rasin, Zaahir Elizabeth Ross and Darius Michael Briggs. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and countless extended family members, friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Life Celebration Center of Punta Gorda (1515 Tamiami Trl, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
