She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Gabbard and Emma Gabbard (House); her husband Charles E. Day Sr.; and her brothers, Bill Gabbard, Donald Ray Gabbard and Neil Gabbard.

She is survived by : her son Charles E. Day Jr. (Jennifer Pottner); her grandsons, Charles L. Day and Jacob Day; and her sister Lois Balsinger.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hickory Flat Cemetery (4464 Morganthaler Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011).
