She was predeceased by: her parents, Toofie Abdalla and Marian Abdalla; her husband Rick; and her daughter Michelle. She is survived by: her former husband Bill Gold; her grandchildren, Avery and Braden; her daughter Melissa Bahrenfuss (Brian); and her sister Bev (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Iles Westover Chapel (6337 Hickman Rd, Des Moines, IA 50322). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In keeping with Luann's generous spirit, the family kindly requests that any memorial donations be made to Exceptional Opportunities or OneVision, the homes where Michelle lived and was loved and cared for.
