He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Keller and Evelyn Keller. He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, Ann (Steve) and Christian (Tina); and his grandchildren, Ethan, Sophia and Emma.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the American Cancer Society in Melvin's name.
