He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Babbitt and Anne Babbitt (Petersen) of Tiverton, RI; and his brothers, Preston and Terry Babbitt (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Lynn Marie Babbitt (Mulholland); his daughters, Gerilyn Cahalan (Timothy), Heather Romanelli (Eric) and Gretchen Babbitt (Matthew Stuczynski); his grandchildren, Duncan T. Cahalan (Jenna), Kasey Lynn Romanelli, Ivor B. Cahalan, Seamus B. Cahalan and Daniel Rocco Romanelli; and his sister Carole Anne Lehoullier (David).
