With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Scott Welsh in Punta Gorda, Florida. Robert, born on February 12, 1961 in Livonia, Michigan, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Larry Welsh Sr.; and his brother Larry Welsh Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Robert (Brianna), Andrew (Brandy) and Brooke (Jeffery); his mother Joyce Welsh (Jim); his siblings, Robin Ramos (Eddie) and Lance Welsh (Faye); and his grandchildren, Ava, Ethan, Gabriel, Arabella, Aysen and Daisy.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Palms Memorial Gardens (27200 Jones Loop Rd, Punta Gorda, FL 33982). A reception will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Beef O'Brady's (1105 Taylor Rd, Punta Gorda, FL 33950).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Robert's name to Our Next Mission (https://ournextmission.org), an organization dedicated to providing accessible housing for disabled and at-risk veterans, ensuring that those who served our country have a place to call their own.
