He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Thornton (Gove) and Neil Carson; and his sister Patricia Tice (Carson) of Jacksonville, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Eileen of Punta Gorda, FL; his children, Scott (Meg) of Belfast, ME, Craig of Bangor, ME, Jeff (Kim) of Quincy, MA and Chris (Kelly) of Carmel, ME.; and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Tanner, Shane of Belfast, ME, Averie and Kendall of Quincy, MA..

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery (828 Western Ave, Hampden, ME 04444).

Ronald battled Parkinson's disease but never lost his witty sense of humor or the ability to light up any room.
