With sadness, we share the passing of Sheralyn Campbell Bechtold (Punta Gorda, Florida). Sheralyn, born on July 14, 1946 in Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on June 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Moultrop and Florence Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Robert Bechtold; her son Adam Campbell (Erin O'Donnell); her grandchildren, Moira and Luna; her stepchildren, Robert Bechtold Jr., Kristen Bergan (Bechtold) and Kimberly Beana (Bechtold); and her siblings, Chelsea LaCourse, Corynne Kluthe, Jennifer Holder and Justin Moultrop.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Life Celebration Center of Punta Gorda (1515 Tamiami Trl, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Best Friends Animal Society, https://bestfriends.org, reflecting Sheralyn's lifelong love for animals and/or the American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org.
