With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Warren W. Worthley (Punta Gorda, Florida), born in Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away on September 1, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Laubhan (David), Lauren Briggs (Christopher), Cyndy Freeze (Ron) and Michael (Christine); his grandchildren, Alexandria Freeze-Brandon (Bryan), Aaron Freeze, Jared Worthley, Meredith Worthley and Joey Worthley; and his sister Carol Adams.

“I was very sad when learning of Warren's passing. Even though we were remote friends, we liked each other whenever we met. Warren was responsible for my becoming associated with the Gulf Coast Banjo Society and he and I formed a mutual admiration for each other. I had a wonderful conversation with Warren just a few months ago and I am so happy that we were able to catch up on many things. I will miss not having him in my banjo world. May he rest in peace and keep on plucking.!”
