It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Anthony Hayes of Punta Gorda, Florida, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothea Mulroney and John Francis Hayes of Keene; his spouse Risa Bell Hayes; his sons, William Scott Hayes and Robert Todd Hayes; his stepson Adam Bell (Paula Vuksic Bell); his stepgranddaughters, Julia and Alyssa Gobuzas; his stepdaughter Alyssa Bell Katz (Mitchel); his stepgrandsons, Joshua and Samuel Katz; the mother of his child Susan Applin Hayes; and also, Wendy, Nicole and Jackson Hayes.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
