He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Bell and Annie Bell of Madison County; and his siblings, Lucille, Howard, Curtis and Linda.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his daughters, Patti Hyre (Mark), Heidi Logue (Michael) and Ashlee Weber (Clint); and his grandchildren, Brittney Kranert (Corey), Linsey Scarlett (Tommy), Madison Logue, Sarah Logue, Grace Hyre, Joel Weber and Juliette Weber. He is also survived by four great - grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Quincy, Florida (306 N Madison St, Quincy, FL 32351). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch.
