It is with sadness that the passing of Herbert Larry Haire (Quincy, Florida) is shared. Herbert, born on November 12, 1939, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Heavy" Haire and Vivian Clark Haire. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Marsh Haire; his son John Haire (Brenda); his grandchildren, Lily and Jake; and his sisters, Carol Beane (Bo), Merilyn Brooks, Leslie Johnson (William) and Jennifer Parramore (Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and longtime friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas Memorial Baptist Church (1001 W Washington St, Quincy, FL 32351). Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lifesong Funeral Home (20 S Duval St, Quincy, FL 32351).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice, Pregnancy Center of Gadsden County, WFRF Faith Radio, or other charities of your choice.
