As Hilda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Hilda. Though Hilda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Chason and Cletta Mae Chason (Barber); and her grandson Blake Shuler. She is survived by: her husband Roy Charles "Pipp" Pippin; her children, Christopher Pippin (Christy), Whaylon Peddie (Jessica), Chase Peddie, Jonette Shuler, Hillary Mears (Matt), Kerstin Peddie and Falynn Peddie; and her brother Donald Mayne (Donna). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel (1068 Main St, Chipley, FL 32428). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
