She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Coakley May and Allyne Walker May; her husband Frank; her daughter Deborah Tucker Sowers; and her brother Henry Dexter "Hank" May.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Loucile "Marylou" May; her daughter Denise Tucker Rodenbough; and her grandchildren, Kelly Goodman and Zachary Rodenbough. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
