He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sidney and Mary Beatrice Howell; and his brother Gene William Howell. He is survived by: his sisters, Annie Mae McMichael, Lillian Howell Goodson and Mary Evelyn Sampson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other loving extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lifesong Funeral Home (20 S Duval St, Quincy, FL 32351). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff's honor to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville, TN, to support their educational programs and help preserve the history of the music he loved.
