He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis V. Hayes and Belle D. Hayes; and his siblings, Glenda Hayes Beach (Robert) and Gwynn Hayes (Mary Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rudd Hayes; his children, Timothy Wayne Hayes (Marie), Patricia Lynn McDaniel (John) and Deborah Gail Sellers (Gary); his grandchildren, Sarah, Morgan (Slade), Hunter (Jamie), Landon (Caitlyn), Gabbi, Garrett, Jacob, Carlis (Melanie), Brittny and Caleb; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brody, Mae Mae, Hadley, Braxton and River.
