He was predeceased by: his sister Brenda I. Thursby. He is survived by: his sister Corine Finch (Riley); his nephews, Damion Goodwin and Robert Goodwin (Bobby) of Gadsden; his great-nephews, Jason Goodwin and D. J. Goodwin of Quincy; and his great-niece Samayaha Goodwin.
