Harrell leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Harrell’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Harrell will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyda Fay Whitaker and Charles Altizer; his former wife Mildred Altizer; and his wife Ruthmarie Altizer. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Altizer (Jeneane Rasmussen Altizer); his stepson Kenan Gavin; and his grandchildren, Philip Altizer Jr. and Kimberly Wells. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
