We bid farewell to Marilyn A. Childress in Ridge Manor, Florida, born in Michigan City, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2024 at the age of 92. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her husband AJ Childress; and her children, John, Gerald and Janice Boltin. She is survived by : her son James Childress; her adoptive son Cliff Allen; her son-in-law Bennett Boltin; and her grandchildren, Tina Hall, Crystal Childress, Patricia Knight, Deb Rathel, Amanda Boltin and Adam Childress. She is also survived by friends, including 24 great and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hodges Family Funeral Home (11441 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at 6244 Spring Lake Hwy, Brooksville, FL 34601.
