He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Rutherford and Viru Rutherford; his siblings, Vernon, Bonnie and Patsy; and his nephew Scott McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Rutherford of Ridge Manor, FL; his sister Velma Saccone of Tampa, FL; and his daughters, Kathy Arrendale of Athens, GA, Carol Anderson and Janice Ratcliff of Nobleton, FL.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
