He was predeceased by: his parents, Arturo Taboada and Delia Taboada. He is survived by: his son Arthur B. Taboada; his wife Susana Taboada; his daughters, Dr. Susan "Dee" Taboada and Dr. Karen Garcia (Gil); and his grandsons, Gabriel and Peter Nathan.
