She is survived by: her sister Geneva "Nevie" Farris; and her children, David Compton (Debbie), Judy Compton Menendez, Peggy Compton Brown and Rebecca "Becky" Compton Grant. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
