She was predeceased by: her husband Jose A. Ortega; her son Jose A. Diaz; her parents, Juan Flores and Monica Galarza; her granddaughter Leilani Diaz; and her siblings, Domingo Flores, Felicita Ruiz and Martha Lugo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ada Iris Diaz (Richard) and Doris Ortega-Rivera (Adolfo Jr.); her grandchildren, Maria Flanagan, Enrique Flanagan (Shamika), Nicholas Diaz (Teresa), Ryan Rivera and Joselyn Rivera-Winslow (Byron); her great grandchildren, Victor Diaz, Isaiah Diaz-Flores, Xavian Flanagan, Amare Rosario, Nicholas Diaz, Angelique Diaz and Cameron Winslow; and her siblings, Francisco, Roberto, Nicolas, Carmen, Luis, Teresa, Evan and Jose.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
