Though Edward Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coley Horner and Viola May Marley Horner; and his wife Virginia Ann Horner. He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry and Paul Horner; his siblings' children, Jonathan Horner, Anna Horner and Naomi Horner Riddle; his great-niece Felicity Yow; and his nephews, James Horner and Jessie Walker Lee Yow.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hillsborough Memorial Gardens.
