He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Warren Ruddell and Dorothy Elizabeth Ruddell; his sister Katrina (Trini Anita Langford); and his nephew Jacob Michael Schwendeman. He is survived by: his partner Robin Scott; his siblings, Barry Lee Ruddell and Susie O'Connell (Ruddell); his nieces and nephews, Issaac Ruddell, Danny Ruddell, Ben Schwendeman, Patrick, Gabriel, Kevin, Raphael O'Connell, Bobbie Lee Davis (Ruddell), Katrina, Therese and Faustine O'Connell; and his children, Robert, Elise and Bennett Ackermann.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
