He is survived by: his wife Carmen Amalia Rivera; and his children, Humberto Asael Rivera, Japhet Heber Rivera, Michele Rivera, Yamira Rosette Rivera and Luz Damaris Rivera. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and beloved extended family.
