He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Arnold and Mabel Arnold (Olman); his parents-in-law, Roman, Anna Garvin, Buster and Pat Anderson; his siblings, Junior, George, James Arnold and Edith Compton (Willie); and his son-in-law Terry Jay Schmidt.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes Garvin; his children, Tom Arnold, Sandy Arnold Schmidt and Jon Arnold (Karen); his grandchildren, Alex, Lauren, Jillian Arnold, Josh (Hannah) and Kyle Schmidt (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Marley, Harper Schmidt and Chloe Schmidt; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Fritz (Don) and Claudia Arnold. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

It was by most the best experience I had of being on any midway , & what I had the pleasure of learning and the knowledge that he shared with me will forever be with me , and little did I know that I would once again have the precious little moment of time in a little village of St.Johnsville NY while on the midway of Cory & Ang Wheelock to see Mr. Arnold once again & have a walk down memory road and get to thank him for everything.”
