He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Alderman and Lessie Alderman; and his siblings, Jesse Alderman, Cliff Alderman and Edna Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rich Alderman; his children, Jerry Joe Alderman, Jr. (Debbie) and Debbie Alderman Coleman (Donny); his grandchildren, Sarah Welch (Mike), Matthew Coleman (Kelly), Tiffani Tarter (Jamison) and Jacob Alderman (Emily); his great grandchildren, William Coleman, John Welch, Madison Coleman, Sadie Alderman, Adeline Tarter and Zoey Tarter; and his siblings, Robert Alderman, Richard Alderman, Wilma Woodruff, Audrey Campaner and Barbara Fender. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
