She is survived by: her children, Melissa Conley and Shawn Conley (Brandi); her parents, George Thomas and Carolyn Thomas; her siblings, Robin Conley (Kevin), Shelly Grover and Brad Thomas (Jennifer); her nieces, Brittany Poulnot (Cody), Lauren Courreges (Emmi) and Meagan Tombulyan (Gagik); her grandchildren, Ashlyn and Logan Conley; and her fiancé Michael Gilmore.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the ALS Association in Karen's memory.
