She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Chester and Gertrude Mary Hannaway. She is survived by: her husband Delma Ray Simmons; her siblings, Walter Hannaway, Buddy Hannaway, Mildred "Dolly" Shore, Frank Hannaway, Earl Hannaway and Gertrude "Judy" Murray; her great grandchild Blake Weckman; her daughters, Renee (Kevin Grooms), Shelley (Harold Siekbert) and Lorri Simmons; her siblings, Arlene Kelley and Norman Murray; her grandchildren, Darlene Wheeler (John), Douglas Grooms, Amanda Hoelscher (Sammy), Matthew Siekbert (Missy), Emily Covington (Christopher) and Andrew Hill (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Victoria Hatmaker, Dylan Grooms, Dalton Grooms, Haley Ruttle, Paul Goodman, Virginia Siekbert, Maxwell Siekbert, Christopher Covington, Elias Covington, Abigail Covington, Avery Hill, Silas Hill and Bodie Hill; and her great great grandchildren, Addison Barnett, Opal Hatmaker, Xaiden Ramey and Bellamy Ramey.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Funeral Care and Cremation Services, Inc. (10510 Riverview Dr, Riverview, FL 33578). A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
