John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph E. Braswell (Tequesta) of Boynton Beach, FL., Jerald E. Braswell of Riviera Beach, FL, Jeffrey E. Braswell of Riviera Beach, FL, Joi Braswell-Mavour (Michael) of Riviera Beach, FL and Julie Braswell-Ravenelle (Donald) of Miami, FL; and his siblings, Cardell Williams of Delray Beach, FL, Margaret Pleasant of Riviera Beach, FL and Angela Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ (1289 W 28th St, Riviera Beach, FL 33404).
