He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley James and Genevieve Ethel Rogers (Kinner); and his siblings, Wayne (Marjorie), Jack (Barbara) and Rosemary Ackley (Walter).
He is survived by: his former wife Marie Ann El-Hawary (Lane); his family England; his spouse Shirley Jean Rogers (Carlson); his children, Randolph Rogers (Gina), Cindy, Rogers-Brunner and Brenda Hill (Morgan); and his stepchildren, Dina Roberts (Scott), Cherene Watkin (Chuck), Chris, Therber, Theresa Teague and Larry Teague (Aida). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
His hospital volunteer work was abruptly stopped during the Covid pandemic, as the hospital removed all volunteer services to help contain spread of the disease.
