She was predeceased by: her parents, Brooks Heathman and Katharyn T. Heathman; her son John Chappell Cowan; her sister Sara Grace Heathman Harrington; and her former husbands, Archie Webb and Frank E. Cowan.
She is survived by: her children, Cassie Luer of Melbourne, FL and Frank Cowan of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Erica Sykut, Ella Schwochert, Nicholas Stephan, Brooks Cowan, Matthew Cowan and Thomas Cowan; her great grandchildren, Thomas Cowan, Matthew Cowan, Brooks Cowan, Nicholas Stephan, Ella Schwochert and Erica Sykut; Brooks Heathman, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
