He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph P. Payne and Rose Angela Howard Payne. He is survived by : his children, Kenneth Payne, Kayla Payne and Kristina Payne of Melbourne, Florida; and his siblings, Marilyn Beyke, Theresa Payne of Owensboro, Jane Gayhart of Rockport, Indiana and Mark Payne (Leigh) of Troutman. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; and 25 great nieces and nephews.
