She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Sundholm and Dorothy Sundholm; her brother Dennis Sundholm; her sister-in-law Anne Sundholm; and her niece Michele Tate (Sundholm).
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Humphrey (George) of Houston and Nicole Walters (Aaron) of Boonville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tyler Walters (Alyssa), Patrick Humphrey, Apryl Walters (Stephon) and Lila Humphrey; her great grandchildren, Oakley and Khloe; and her brother Paul Sundholm (Judi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to express sympathy are invited to consider a donation to Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry, a cause Marilyn not only supported during her LWML service, but also one that brought her comfort during her final year.
