She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Hillman and Elizabeth Hillman; and her son George A. Burfeind. She is survived by: her husband George Burfeind; her grandchildren, George P. Burfeind, Mary Burfeind and Joseph O. Burfeind; and her siblings, Barbara Carr (Patrick), Elaine Rose (late Walt Wehling), Janet Hillman (Mary Schramke) and Alfred Hillman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to St. Francis of Assisi Church in Englewood, Florida.
