In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Denise Viau; his children, Chrissy, Matt Berquist, Crystal and Jason Murphy; and his grandchildren, Tori, Brody, Payton, Taylor and Landry.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory (110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to his granddaughter Tori's fundraiser supporting children with pediatric illnesses through the Children's Miracle Network—a cause close to his family's heart. Donations can be made at: https://events.dancemarathon.com.
