He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his siblings, Albert, Barbara Ross, Erwin and Francis Berman; and his parents, Harry Cherwin and Sarah Cherwin.
He is survived by: his children, Audrey Cherwin (JB Allison) of Healdsburg, CA, Daniel Cherwin (Stacey Bolger) of Johnson City, TN and Hilary Ryan (Matthew Ryan); his grandchildren, Brandon Cherwin, William Cherwin and Jessie Chavez (Michael Chavez); and his great grandchild Mitchell Chavez.
