She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifton Lewis Fowler and Alice Hower Fowler; her siblings, Ralph Fowler and Linda Fowler Welborne; and her husband James Tipps Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Pamela Case (Richard) and Jim Tipps Jr. (Lisa); her grandchildren, Andrew, Trevor, Stuart Case, Lindsey and Courtney Tipps; and her sisters, Mary Fowler Geier and Barbara Fowler Campbell.
