He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria J. Romano (Palandro); and his brothers, John Simmers and Robert Simmers (Sue). He is survived by: his children, Rocco Romano (Gina) and Cynthia Hadley (late Mark); and his great grandchildren, PJ and Ben McIlwain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
