Christine Rae (Stoltz) Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Christine Rae (Stoltz) Davis (St Augustine, Florida). Christine was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on February 22, 1952 and peacefully entered into her eternal rest on February 20, 2020, at the age of 67, surrounded by her daughters. Christine is survived by her two daughters, Dana Nelson of St Augustine, Fl and Tina Nelson of Altamonte Springs, Fl, her two step-daughters Susan (Davis) Thompson of San Marco, CA and Melanie (Davis) Wood of Jacksonville Fl. She also leaves as legacy two grandchildren Zachary Cunningham and Hannah Cunningham as well as a great grandson Christopher Wolfe all of Pinellas County Fl. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, she is also survived by her youngest sister Sharon (Stoltz) Jones of Pinellas Park, Fl. Preceding her in death were her parents, Raymond and Shirley Stoltz and her younger siblings, brother Raymond A Stoltz and sister Carolyn Stoltz Falconer.
She was raised Roman Catholic, receiving communion at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pinellas Park Fl. Throughout her life, her family made many pilgrimages here to St Augustine Diocese of St Augustine.
Christine was a devoted wife and mother to 2 daughters from her marriage with Jerry Nelson and 2 step-daughters from a 2nd marriage to Zeb Davis. She was a loving and devoted mother to her 4 children whom she referred to as “her girls”. Later after successfully raising “her girls”, she refocused on her passion to care for others and at 47, went back to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She then worked for Gastroenterology Associates of St Augustine for 15 years.
She belonged to Chapter 1101 Women of the Moose, St Augustine Fl and also volunteered as disaster relief worker in St Augustine Fl.
Christine was a good Christian woman, beloved mother and a trusted friend and she is deeply missed every day.

A rosary was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2020 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of La Leche National Shrine at Mission Nombre de Dios (101 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida 32084).
