It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Thomas of Saint Augustine, Florida, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Thomas; his siblings, Robert Thomas and Diane Bussell; and his parents, Warren Thomas and Eileen Thomas (Quigley).
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Thomas (Sandi) and Pamela Horn; the mother of his children Gloria Bauerle; his child Shannon Thomas; the mother of his child Maureen McDermott; his stepdaughter Erica Saldutti; his grandchildren, Christian Purdy, Cody Bowers, Kimberlie Thomas (Keifer), Ryan Bowers (Elizabeth), Rachael Simon (Clayton), Taylor Thomas, Ian Horn and Davyn Horn; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Bowers, Lucas Bowers and Foster Simon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Craig Funeral Home (1475 Old Dixie Hwy, St. Augustine, FL 32084). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice that supports memory care research.
