He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Wisnosky; and his mother-in-law Patricia Gravois. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Wisnosky; his children, David Wisnosky, Lauren Wisnosky, Jacob Hatch and Kara Hatch; his mother Alicia Wisnosky; his sister Amy Wisnosky; and his parents-in-law, John Gravois and Gale Gravois.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dave's memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville.
