She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Simpson and Kathleen Simpson; and her sister Julia. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Albert Blalock Sr.; her son Clarence II (Tracey); her granddaughter Sidney; and her cousins, Mary Alice Douglas and Jean Macik.
