He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Hayford and Mary Jane Hayford. He is survived by : his wife Janet Bostwick Hayford; his sister Sandra Dunn (Alton); his children, Scott Earle (Jessica) and Susan Dawn Malota (Michael); his grandchildren, Ryan Hayford, Dylan Hayford, Colin Hayford, Alexis Lobinsky (Jordan), Hailey Jenkins (Kenneth), Michael Malota and Zoë Malota; and his great grandchild Amelia.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shores United Methodist (724 Shores Blvd, St. Augustine, FL 32086).
