He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Knapp Sr. and Estelle Knapp (Braddock); and his sister Connie Terrell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Knapp (Hood); his daughter Deana M. Knapp; his grandchildren, Kalani M. Wilkerson, Aiden J. Murphy and Gavin C. Murphy; and his sisters, Donna Kubas and June Baker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
