He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Prevatt and Emma Prevatt; his former wife Vennie Turner Prevatt; his children, Samuel H. Todd II and Barbara L. Smith; his wife Jo-An Ruth Prevatt of St. Augustine; his sons, Edwin L. Prevatt of Orange Park, Eugene Erle Prevatt (Lynn) of Middleburg and Donald Calvin Newman, Jr. (RaeAnne); and his stepchildren, Richard J. Starr (Viktoryia) of Clawson and Victoria J. Starr of Augusta. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
