He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy J Larson (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Jan Marie (Bahr); and his children, Erling Larson III, David C. Larson (Linda), Karen L. Gillespie (Max) and Melissa L. Howard (Sam). He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and twelve Great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the University of Iowa Foundation, Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Florida, or Memorial Presbyterian Church St. Augustine Florida.
