He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Stokes (Nathaniel), Marva Saulsby, Beverly DeBerry, Gail Eubanks, Artrelle Eubanks and Kenneth Eubanks; his nieces and nephews, Clifton Eubanks, Jr (Tanjee), Dwayne Eubanks, Kevin Stokes (Sharonda), Nathaniel Stokes Jr. (Tara), Keith Gerald Eubanks (Ruth), Dr. Mikelle Phillips (James), Erica Eubanks and Arielle Eubanks; and his sister Joyce Rich of Viera, FL.. He is also survived by great nephews, great nieces and cousins.

“Deepest condelonces. I met Gerald in the mid 70's when I took his history teaching position at Ketterlinus Jr. High - he had been promoted to assistant principal under Bob Braden. He has been my mentor and my friend for more than 40 years, and when I would run into him at Publix, he always had time for a nice chat. He was the one who encouraged me to retire when I did, telling me "it's ok - you can do it - things will be fine!" You will be missed, Gerald. Anne (Adkins) (Custer) Berkey”
