He is survived by: his children, Katrina Norvell of Providence, Michelle Allen (James) of Bristol and John Herndon (Penny) of Lake City, Florida; his sister Anita Quarrick (Charles) of Hendersonville; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Cox of Saint Augustine, Ann Herndon of Jacksonville and Sue Arnold of Warner Robins, Georgia.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
